I'm Tanish, a software developer focused on backend systems, full-stack web products, and infrastructure. I studied mechanical engineering, but during the COVID lockdown, I started teaching myself programming and decided to build a career in software.

Learning by building
When the pandemic halted in-person classes, sitting around wasn't an option. With just a laptop and an internet connection, I jumped headfirst into software development.
I learned the fundamentals directly from documentation, open-source projects, and fixing broken code. The quick turnaround in software felt empowering: you could have an idea in the morning, build a prototype by afternoon, and deploy it for people to use by evening.
Systems, AI & business
While I enjoy crafting clean frontends, the most satisfying engineering challenges are behind the scenes. I spend most of my time on System Design, Backend APIs, and Agentic AI workflows.
I also care deeply about the commercial and operational side—sales pipelines, marketing automation, and how software actually drives user acquisition and revenue. A well-designed system is only valuable when it solves concrete business problems and performs reliably.
Where I spend my time
Today, my time is divided between full-time product development and entrepreneurial ventures:
- ·Concept Ninjas: Software developer leading development on AI Lab (in-browser code assessment IDE) and Leadstor (CRM for education institutes and training centers, modernized from legacy PHP/Bootstrap with the frontend transitioned to Next.js/React).
- ·DOTIX: Co-founder and technical lead, managing a 10+ developer engineering team delivering custom web apps, fintech tools, and client platforms.
- ·Duddy.io: Founding member contributing to an AI No-Code platform with compiler pipelines that translate visual schemas into native Swift and Kotlin apps.
Approach
How I approach engineering
Simplicity first
Choose technologies based on problem requirements and maintainability, rather than whatever happens to be trending.
Plan for failure
Networks disconnect and external services go down. Always write clear error handling, retries, and fallbacks.
Learn by shipping
The quickest way to truly understand a framework, protocol, or database feature is to write code, test it, and run it.
