What It Is
As DOTIX rapidly grew its portfolio of production web and mobile applications, our engineering team hit a major operational roadblock: every single new application required setting up separate servers, standalone databases, custom authentication mechanisms, payout handlers, and logging setups.
Deploying a new application took 2 to 3 days of repetitive manual configuration. Maintenance overhead multiplied with every new launch, and bugs discovered in one app had to be patched individually across dozens of isolated repos.
I architected and led the development of Omni Base — a centralized backend platform that provides unified infrastructure, auth, analytics, configuration, and payouts across DOTIX's entire ecosystem of 20+ apps.
What It Does
- 12-Minute New App Deployment: Reduces the time required to spin up backend infrastructure for a new application from days down to approximately 12 minutes.
- Centralized Authentication & Profiles: Single-sign-on and shared token verification across multiple client apps.
- Unified Secure Payout Engine: Solved a critical business flaw by consolidating payout logic with idempotent execution, auditing, and multi-factor approval checks.
- Real-Time Remote Configuration: Enables dynamic feature flagging, app maintenance modes, and version deprecation policies without needing mobile app redeployments.
- Central Observability: Aggregated analytics, error logs, and API health telemetry in one central command center.

- Engineered high-throughput microservices using Golang, MariaDB, and Redis caching to handle millions of requests and 500+ concurrent active sessions effortlessly.
