Skills & tools
I'm primarily a full-stack developer, but system design is where I spend most of my thinking. I enjoy taking an idea, figuring out how the pieces should fit together, and then actually building and running it.
Architecture, APIs, databases, scalability, caching, and the less glamorous parts of software that become very important once your application is actually being used.

Working with relational databases and choosing storage based on the problem rather than the trend.
Experimenting with LLMs and integrating AI capabilities into actual products and developer workflows.
Comfortable getting applications from code to a server and keeping the infrastructure running.
The tools and practices I use to build, ship, debug, and maintain projects.
I have an old Lenovo laptop running Ubuntu CLI as a home server. It's where a lot of my experiments happen — Docker containers, services, networking, deployments, and whatever I happen to be curious about that week.
Most of these skills came from building things, not collecting them.
